Construction of a new and distinct 1,496 m2 RCMP Detachment Building to post-disaster and non-combustible requirements including construction of two distinct halves of the building, one half being built with concrete block walls with high rusting “Corten” steel wall panels and comslab roof framing, while the other half, contained the office spaces, has 4m high vaulted ceilings framed in gluelam and exposed wood with aluminium and glass curtain wall shaded from the sun by a steel and aluminium structure designed specifically for the project.
