We are proud to announce that we have recently been awarded the Construction Management Contract for the building of the Kitsumkalum Health Centre located in Terrace, BC. This project is a 411 m2 single storey wood framed building that includes significant heavy timber components throughout. Site development includes parking, underground services, landscaping and the installation of a geo-exchange field. We are excited to be collaborating with the Kitsumkalum First Nations Band and Lubor Trubka Associates Architects on this project and will be tendering sub trades soon.
Unitech is working towards becoming a member of the Climate Smart alumni to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our operations. The Climate Smart process involves measuring our current carbon footprint, planning and implementing strategies to reduce emissions and then re-measuring to determine the success of our emission reduction.
