Project Overview
The project transformed the Victoria’s Fernwood neighbourhood delivering much-needed affordable housing within a thoughtfully planned, community-oriented environment. The project involved the consolidation and demolition of nine existing properties across approximately 2.15 acres to facilitate a comprehensive redevelopment consisting of a five-building complex including one five-storey apartment, one four-storey apartment, two three-and-a-half-storey townhouse blocks, and one three-storey accessible townhouse building. In total, the project delivers 158 affordable housing units designed to accommodate a diverse range of residents including families, seniors, and individuals with varying accessibility needs. The development includes a 1,450 m² amenity space to support community programming and neighbourhood engagement, making it a total gross floor area of approximately 12,360 m². A single-level underground parkade provides parking for 112 vehicles and 194 bicycles, supporting both resident needs and sustainable transportation options.
